Indus Valley Saved for the English National History Curriculum.

Thanks to the campaign by many teaching organisations and august bodies of eminent professors, Michael Gove was forced to change the anglo-centric version of the history curriculum he tried to foist on Primary schools, and there are now two option lists of world history topics, not one, as before.  These option lists make far better chronological sense, than the previous mix of ancient and early modern civilisations, and it was gratifying to know that this is what I argued in my own submission, and was taken on board by others, during the consultation period debates.

So The Ancient civilisation list still includes the Indus Valey Civilisation, an excellent teaching topic, but it is more challenging and less well known than others so it is…….
